Does Copying Save Files Lead to Bans? (Conduit 2 Patches Question)

Hello everyone, my name is Cmo and I've been playing on Wiimmfi for a long time, I'm one of the guys who asked about getting C2 (Conduit 2) on Wiimmfi and its been online for a while and I'm glad it has been! However a problem has been more and more apparent as we get more and more newer players to play with the current round of people playing this game, and that is that the newer people who play this game are not able to reliably get the current game updates that this game came with when it was available to play on WFC.

Now I'm trying to solve this issue and its one that has been causing a lot of problems for us, and I was thinking that maybe the way it could be solved is by copying the save files over from a player who has the current updates as I believe the updates are attached via the save file, so copying could solve this issue however it was brought to me by Ciapa in the past that it can cause players to be banned.

Now, my question is this, if this is true, is it possible to avoid the ban by erasing the saved profiles and just using a blank one, or are players still at risk of a ban?

Also, if that is true I would ask of someone with the know-how to please make a sort of default save data patch that is a blank canvas but will still have the patches that all the other players like myself have.

I am only asking this because it has become a bigger issue now than ever before and it could hurt growth for our player base.
